Meet Emma

Emma Sims, LICSW
Therapist

(Daphne, Mobile, and virtual)

Hi, I’m Emma. I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to supporting you as you take these steps toward personal growth. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but my goal is to help you feel supported every step of the way. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Whether you’re finding that life feels more overwhelming than expected or adjusting to unexpected changes, I’m here to help you find steady footing and move forward with confidence.

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, academic challenges, and life transitions. I am passionate about supporting teens, men, and women as they navigate the many challenges life can bring. I also enjoy working with individuals who are neurodiverse, helping them navigate and thrive within the unique demands of our society.

I believe you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. Sometimes, we just need support to recognize our strengths and reach our full potential. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based approaches, and solution-focused techniques, I work collaboratively with you to build on your strengths and help you reach your goals.

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). I have experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families as they navigate life transitions and everyday challenges.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that’s relaxing at the beach or hiking in the mountains. I am a perpetual hobbyist and enjoy playing music, needlepoint, sewing, and nature photography. I also enjoy traveling and trying new foods.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey toward growth, healing, and confidence.

Hello and welcome!

You deserve a safe space to heal from your struggles and thrive in your life and relationships.
